‘The more you learn, the more you realize how much you need to learn,’ says Adeolu Fadele, who is a self-starter and an entrepreneur in the blockchain sphere. In his words, Blockchain Council has successfully provided him with the relevant content and ease of access in earning certifications in Blockchain and Hyperledger, along with elevating his career for better opportunities.

As a founder of the Cryptography Development Initiative of Nigeria (CDIN), which promotes the learning and practice of Cryptography to unlock opportunities in the digital economy by supporting cybersecurity and digital investigation in Nigeria, Adeolu had been looking for a focused certification that came with accreditation. He was then guided by the managing team at Blockchain Council to sign up for Certified Blockchain Expert. It helped him understand the core concepts of Blockchain technology that are commonly used across multiple industries. Moreover, he felt so satisfied with this training that he signed up for another one, i.e., the Certified Hyperledger Expert. It helped him to learn Hyperledger Fabric, Composer, Hyperledger Umbrella Project, and an in-depth understanding of the entire Blockchain project. He says that with so much going on in the hyperledger blockchain ecosystem with big players like IBM and Intel Corporation, it’s essential to stay up to date with the latest developments in these technologies.

“My biggest takeaway from Blockchain Council is the knowledge I’ve gained from the research provided in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) because it’s very relevant to the projects I’m working on currently.”

With a background in engineering, Blockchain technology is helping him design & implement robust security solutions. He is implementing DLT in threat defense and security monitoring. Besides that, Identity & Access Management, Security Monitoring, System Security Administration, Information System Audit, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Incident Event Management, IT security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures, Disaster Recovery, Risk Assessment, Security and Forensic Investigation are some of his strengths that blockchain technology has improved further.
