TCS Learning Hub

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has recently made a significant announcement at the Choose France Summit, led by President Emmanuel Macron. The company unveiled plans to establish a Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center of Excellence in the vibrant city of Paris.
This new AI hub will find its home in the upcoming TCS PacePort situated in La Défense, Paris, slated for inauguration in June 2024. It marks the seventh addition to TCS’ worldwide Pace network, joining other major cities such as Amsterdam, London, New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Tokyo.

The primary objective of the TCS AI Center of Excellence in Paris is to bring together global expertise from startups, academia, and research organizations to support French companies. By tapping into France’s rich talent pool in design and engineering, the center aims to foster the development of cutting-edge human-centric AI technologies.
Initially, the center will focus on pioneering areas such as brain-computer interface, instilling empathy in machines, and exploring the applications of AI in arts and culture. Paris’s stature as a global hub for culture and design will undoubtedly provide a unique advantage to these innovative endeavors.
Rammohan Gourneni, Country Head of TCS France, emphasized the company’s commitment to advancing technology capabilities and delivering tangible benefits to clients in France and worldwide. The center’s immediate focus will be on enhancing human-centered AI capabilities across sectors such as banking and finance, manufacturing, and consumer industries. TCS plans to recruit new talent and collaborate with universities to provide internships and projects, aligning with France’s National AI Mission.
This strategic investment underscores TCS’s recognition of France’s thriving AI ecosystem and its pivotal role in the global technology landscape. Through collaborative partnerships with industry, academia, and research institutions, TCS aims to drive innovation and unlock the full potential of AI for businesses and society.
As AI continues to reshape industries worldwide, TCS’s establishment of a global center of excellence in France positions the company as a key player in shaping the future of this rapidly evolving field.
