Within weeks, he received inquiries from businesses looking for blockchain developers. His first blockchain project was building an NFT minting platform for a digital art collective. The project was completed successfully and led to referrals that quickly filled his pipeline.

Encouraged by the demand, Bert went on to complete two additional Blockchain Council certifications - Certified Smart Contract Developer and Certified Cryptocurrency Expert. The combined expertise allowed him to offer end-to-end blockchain consulting services, from strategy and architecture to implementation and security audits. His hourly rate tripled from $65 to over $200.
