Tech Giant TÜV Rheinland Joins Hands With Blockchain Council

The multinational organization TÜV Rheinland has recently announced the creation of their first Blockchain certifications in association with Blockchain Council, aimed for the consultants, developers, and experts in the field of Blockchain. Blockchain consultants and experts will hugely benefit from these certifications as until now they have not had an endorsement from an independent third party that recognizes their expertise.

The TÜV Rheinland Group Founded in 1872 is a leading provider of technical services worldwide. Having headquarters in Cologne, the Group employs 19,700 people and generates annual revenues of € 1.92 billion. According to the Group, its mission and guiding principle are to achieve sustained development of safety and quality in order to meet the challenges arising from the interaction between man, technology and the environment.
TUV Rheinland has embraced blockchain as the organization understands the potential of this revolutionizing technology. In light of the recent developments in Blockchain technology, TUV Rheinland shook hands with the Blockchain Council, BlockTAC and ProTOS for creating certifications validating the skills and expertise of Blockchain consultants and developers. This was revealed by Ricardo Duarte Serrano, the national training director of TÜV Rheinland, during his appearance at the Annual Summit 2019, organized by the Certiuni Foundation and moderated by the head of the German company, Nicolás Notis.
These certifications backed by TUV Rheinland and Blockchain Council will hugely benefit individuals in the Blockchain sector. This certification of competence is the recognition of quality in the field of Blockchain that will be valid for any part of the world.
According to Ricardo Duarte, “the basis for working in any field is training, that is, nobody can certify a professional competence without having the necessary knowledge to do so. But the true training is not known until a professional has experience. In such a competitive world, this trajectory has to be guaranteed, it requires a demonstration that we can develop in that specific field “.
Currently, there are 3 certifications developed by TÜV Rheinland in alliance with Blockchain Council. All certifications are valid for 3 years. After 3 years candidates have to go for recertification, where they must prove that their knowledge is updated through an examination procedure and proven professional experience.
Blockchain Council is delighted with the association as this alliance with TÜV Rheinland will take the Blockchain Council’s vision of spreading the awareness of Blockchain technology further.
